Title: Mount Pilot Cache
Post by: Ken on October 03, 2009, 11:01:02 AM
Mount Pilot Cache (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=7441c608-a967-42fa-b2ac-a041cfefa4a1)

This great little cache is only a short distance from our house and GrandMa Kay and me pass by it several times each year as we go for veggies in Mt Airy,  so this one was a natural for me to check out.  :bigthumb:

It was easy to find and me and Jake and Minnie enjoyed the outing.
Great little cache with some nice goodies... we just looked and signed the log.

BTW... If Mount Pilot sounds familiar to you guys then you must have watched the 'Andy Griffith' show with Mayberry, Mt Airy and all of those places.  :08:

It is.
The names were mixed and matched somewhat in the various TV shows.

There really is a Pilot Mountain and Mt Airy, but some of the other town names were made up.

I'm going to start a GeoCacheing thread @ SC.net as soon as I finish one successfully

This is something that the personality of SC will pick up on ...they are a pretty "Techno" kinda people

do you mind if I use your External links and or link to here???

You are welcome to use any of it.
Les, SKhilled & I sometimes copy content between our forums... copy and post the jokes, links... etc so it's not something we think of  as a big deal.

I've been to Steve's forum..Les has one??

Let me run this past my partner; Orakk...but I see no problem with entering SC.net into the loop!...anything we [SC] have that is 'TopSecret' will be behind locked doors anyway!!!!

I've sent Orakk a PM @ SC.net to visit this thread...I don't know if he'll have a log in problem  but if Orakk knocks on the front door ....he's one of the good guys!!!!we will do our best not to intrude in family threads unless invited

You can use whatever you want from my sites. But the one Ken is talking about is http://www.skhilled.com (http://www.skhilled.com) which is my family site. Not the one in my sig.

Gotcha Steve ...I see the difference; as with  here I try not to interfere/intervene in family discussions and really prefer not to be included ....as for off topic threads ...sure if I can help...just ask!!!!!

for what it's worth ...Les I registered ...that  makes ...hhhmmmmm 30 forums I need to keep track of!!!???? don't expect much!!!!

BTW  anything you can see at SC.net is public as far as we are concerned...to view more just register!!  We are in the loop!! If we want to protect content we will put it behind locked doors!! Any Forum with direction; as you know; was locked doors; various levels of permissions @ SC.net that was our first priority.

you are all welcome to register and request what level of responsibility/access you are permitted. At the moment we are air tight secure and not taking on anymore Admins or mods

Anyone can join at both of my sites. The one in my sig is basically for SMF, etc. support but doesn't matter. The family one is for anything and not strictly for family. I started it as a way to keep in touch with everyone but we are all now on Facebook. LOL

I am making the family site into a recipe/arcade/black history site. All histories are welcome, tho. ;)

Trying to implement 2 mother boards that each have 2 individual (Double sockets) Xeon processors, one I believe are dual 3.4's and the other is probably single core 3.6 X2

Along with converting an ATHY64 X2 5000+ to a Phenom X4 9650  and an ATHY64 single core 3800+ to an ATHY 64 X2 6000....along with a PSU upgrade in the Quad to a 750W to accommodate an ATI 4850 GPU....the credit cards have been busy!!!!!

I'll say! LOL

I'll probably build a new one when I get my tax rebates back. I guess I need to start doing my homework now to figure out what I'll get so I'll be ready when the time comes. I haven't built one in about 1 1/2 years I guess.
