It may be released as early as today...if we all agree on it. ;)

I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Windows 11

Windows 11 is coming! It's in Beta testing now and although I would have been all over it and the fray in times past, this time around I'm giving it a pass.  laughing7

Been hearing about it but not sure about it yet. Plus you need new hardware, tcm or something, I forget.

I'm starting to give it a serious look see, and maybe gonna install it soon.

Been reading stuff like this review on CNN:

But will prolly not work right if your hardware is not up to specs...if at all. I think there were youtube vids posted on how to get around it but I've heard a lot of them didn't work. I'm assuming cause of the various hardware users may have.

BUT...if you use the tweak I'm pretty sure MS will set a trap later where you can't get upgrades until you upgrade your hardware or buy a new PC/lappy. :(

After doing more reading (tks for the link Steve, it helped) I'm staying away from the upgrade for now. Only one of our three computers is 'ready' for Win11 and it's not worth the effort and risk because I'm not really up to the task when it gets down to the thrashing around that sometimes comes with these new releases.

Personally, unless it's a big security release I let everyone else be the guinea pigs until they work out the bugs. Then I may go for it. I do the same for big games too. lol
