Do we believe in love?
What is love, do we know
Do we really care!
Sometimes we have to be shown
In this life are we aware
I have loved and lost
So many dreams
To many I have passed
To many it would seem
When love is dead
It?s hard to revive
When love is good
We will survive
Now I found my true love
We are together
And always will be
For now and forever
This can be for you
Treat this lady always true
Be sure you love her
Walk the line never be blue
She will be the one
Now and forever
Or at least she will be gone
She is the one you must savour

Very nice Les. :bigthumb:
-
Les, I hope you are writing these down and keeping them in a binder or something.

Les: it is so nice to hear your voice recording your poem. It's wonderful to know that some one loves with a true love for his wife. It helps to restore my faith that there is true love in this world of hate. There are very few people who have true love. My reguards, Mallie

Thanks Mallie, I just don't like the sound of my own voice though

You sound great Les.
When I first started to do 'public' speaking (1961) one of the first things that I learned was that how your voice sounds to you is totally beside the point, it only matters how you sound to your listeners.
Another thing that is important is diction and pronouncing skills... in other words, do your listeners understand what you say and do they get the point.
I think that you score an 'A' on the delivery of your Poems.
There is also something to be said for voice quality and to me yours is just fine and I like the sound of it. You preform very well, so stop listening to yourself as 'you' and start listing as if you were the audience so that you can focus on the quality of the delivery of your words and the flow of the speech. :bigthumb:

That's exactly how you do it. ;)

Les, when you recite your poems it makes me want to cry. If a poem does that to people that means your poems are very powerful and you need to keep writing more poems. I feel that you and Lisa are very dear friends now and I love you both very much. Your friend Mallie :2tumb:

me and Lisa feel the same same about you and your poems too, I will write more poems but they come to me when don't think about writing them :)
