I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

A Descent Into Madness!
« on: October 22, 2019, 04:08:06 PM »
Arthur, says, “I haven’t been happy one minute of my entire fucking life.”

And that sums up Arthur's life as he descends into the deep, dark pit where he becomes a homicidal maniac. As you begin to learn about his life, starting as a young boy, you can see the seeds that helped him discover himself so that he could become the psychopath that Bruce Wayne was to pursue for all those years. I've read that Jared Leto (Suicide Squad) was really upset that he didn't get the part in this movie and while I can see why he would feel offended I think that Joaquin Phoenix was the better choice by far.

I loved this movie. Yes, it's dark, brooding and although the onscreen violence only takes up a very few minutes of the movie it just feels violent all the way through. Not for everyone for sure... but, I loved it.  laughing7
