Oxtail Osso Bucco With Creamy Polenta
« on: December 28, 2023, 09:31:09 PM »
I was just shopping earlier and saw a bunch of oxtails. That was strange because you rarely see them in the stores here and when you do, they are the very tiny tail end, have very little meat on them and only see a pack or two. :( But, today a saw a lot of them and kept looking at them for some reason. I remember my grandmother making oxtail stew when I was young, and my grandfather would go nuts over it. LMAO

Then just awhile ago I get an email with this recipe. I'll either need to back to the store tomorrow or have them delivered before they are all gone.

I have not thought of oxtail stew/soup for years!  laughing7
My first wife's mother would make it often, and it held an important position on her list of 'Soul Food' recipes. She was one great cook.
