Welcome To O.F.F David :2tumb:

Thank you for the warm welcome! Much appreciated!

I'm David, 41, living in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania.  I have a daughter, Stephanie, age 12, and a son, Ethan, who will be 7 on July 4th!  I have custody of Stephanie. I have partial custody of Ethan (different moms).  Not too sure how to go about introductions on a site of this kind, considering that most of you know each other, I'm sure (lol). I think family is extremely important and I value my children above anything else (at least from an Earthly perspective).  For me, family is my kids and that's about it.  I am, however, currently owned by two stray cats, a mother and a son. I guess that's family too, yes?

Anyway, thank you all again for the welcome.  This is really a terrific site. I love the design and the feel of it.  Looking forward to participating more in the near future.

Sincerely,

David

Your welcome David, I am not a family member here, but I have been welcomed into the family, I have become good friends with Ken and his mom Mallie, I actually live in England, and talk with Ken and his mom about twice a week via Skype, with video link.

Any way have a look around, and try to have a look at Moms(Mallie) art work, she is 91, and knows her way around a computer very well.

Hi David. :)

You are on the opposite end of the state from me. LOL I grew up in Philly but live in Reading now. I'm like Les and was "adopted" into the family...I think. LOL

Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard.

Hey there!

Are you by any chance the "Skhilled" that I see posting frequently on the SMF and Simple Portal site?  If so, I kinda feel like I already know you.

The more I look at websites like this, the more UN-skilled I feel.  Gotta learn more about customizing SMF.  Have no clue where to start...and I've been using it for some time now.

Nice meeting you!

David

I don't know many 91 year olds who even know how to turn on a computer.
Impressive!
I am assuming she did all the artwork for the site?

England is a long way from Belle Vernon Pennsylvania!! <lol> May I ask roughly where in England?

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, that's me. I've been surfing the net for over 20 years now. I can't remember all of the sites I belong to. LOL

If you click my sig you'll find a lot of useful info at my site for new users to SMF, Tinyportal, and SMF Arcade. Other things are coming soon.

btw, my grandfather is 82 and has been playing PC games for about 15 years now. ;)

EDIT: Hey! What happened to my sig???

Anyways David, my site is at http://www.skhilled.com/docs and you can read the tutorials as a guest, if you'd like.
