Les, you might want to put a lamp over the monitor near the webcam, if you can. That should take the blue from the monitor (or some of it) off your face.

Yeah I keep saying I need to get one, my computer is inside a cabinet so its a bit dark at times!

Hmmm, maybe install a light under the top of the cabinet (inside) or put a lamp on top of it. It should make things a bit brighter.
