Title: Login Differences
Post by: Skhilled on January 30, 2021, 05:43:20 AM
If you use the main menu login you go straight to the forum. But if you use the login at the top right of the forum you get the Oops! page. There has to be a difference in the coding between the two...

Thanks for bumping this back up Mick, I had forgotten all about the issue.  :-[

I just tried logging in using both methods and it works as expected for me, going straight to the forum each time.

Update: I believe I know what the problems and why I sometimes see the 404 page. It's is caching in Firefox. If I just open my browser and try to login I will see it. But if I refresh the page before logging in I won't see it. ;)

Could also be related to one of my FF extensions...

I know this is old but I've finally figured it out! LOL

The problem is caching. I use Firefox and must have it set to show cached pages. When I come here and try to login without refreshing the page first I get that page. If I refresh first then try to login I don't see it.
