Help for Hearing Issues!

(1/1)

Ken:
Whoa!!! This works!!!  :hah!:
For some years now I've some issues with my hearing, mainly brought about by working in the metal/welding industry for several years and now by advancing age. The basic problem is that the ringing in my ears causes other sounds, like conversations or TV to be garbled. Even when I can hear the sound it may be very difficult to understand what is being said.
The TV can be a real downer because if the volume is high enough for me, it's outrageously loud for Kay.

So, my external speaker set, with two speakers about 1.5ft away from my head, never did really get the job done and then a few days back those two speakers quit working, so I said to Kay, "... me no gonna waste money on another set of speakers, but instead do as I should have done from the first, get some headphones!"

So... I did.  :coolsmiley:
These bad boys work great so far, very easy to setup because they were pretty much plug and play, the sound quality is really good for me and make the dialog much easier to follow. And, they do not affect the TV's regular sound system at all, so Kay can set her volume as desired, me can set the headphones as desired and we will both be happy.  laughing7

The Headphones.

Those look good! But did you get them to hear the TV better or not hear Kay while watching the TV?  :disturbed:

Ken:
hahahahahh... that's funny.  laughing7
Actually she already tried to talk to me while I was wearing the headphones and it didn't work out very well because they work great for noise canceling.

Skhilled:
I though so... ;)
