Title: Good Morning, Vietnam!
Post by: Ken on June 09, 2019, 07:42:39 AM
Just watched (yesterday) this movie again for over a dozen(s) time now and love it just as much as ever. Robin Williams was the perfect actor for this part, I don't think that anyone else could have come even close to his performance. As a humorous aside to this story, the real Adrian Joseph Cronauer is very much different from the Cronauer that Williams portrayed in the movie.

I love anything Robin did! A very sad ending to his life! :(

Yes, it was, I was deeply saddened after hearing the news of his death.

It's funny tho... A lot of times after he would make a joke he would make a sad face. I've noticed that but never understood it until his suicide. It was as if comedy kept his spirits up and kept him alive.
