I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.  :thumbup:

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well Burgundyrose

Kay just took this tasty looking bird out of the oven!
She cooked it all night... the oven was pre-heated to 350? and then the bird was placed in for one hour and then the heat cut back to 185? for the overnight roasting. Kay is working today so that's why the process was set up for an overnight cooking.
Me gonna also deep-fry another turkey about mid-afternoon and I may take a couple of pics of that... it may be raining, so I'll have to wait and see about that part. (cannot deep-fry inside)

Ok, now I am hungry again. My stomach has been hurting all day from overeating, but now I have to get into the leftovers, hehehehe. Great looking turkey!

I just came back from the store with a turkey. LOL The first 2 stores said they've been out of turkeys since Wed. Since we were away yesterday, I decided to still cook a few things. ;)

@BR...  :belly:

I never got around to taking any pictures of the deep-fried turkey and now it's too late because we ate up most all of it!!!  :yikes:
It turned out really great and so it saw the most action when everyone was making their plates and going back for seconds. The turkey that Kay roasted overnight in the oven was great as well and we ate about half of it. (there were 7 of us)

Bummer, I would of liked to have seen the deep fried turkey. I have never tried one. Maybe next year I will get adventurous at my new house and try it.   :bigteeth:

I'm too afraid of wasting that much oil on one thing. LOL

It took about 3.5 gallons of Peanut oil... and yes, that's a one time use for the oil.  :yikes:

... but then, you only do that once or twice a year.

hehehehe, looks like a fun adventure to me!!!  JK, they showed one of those videos on our local news. I still want to try one, but I think I will let someone else do the cooking.
