Title: Ninja Air Fryer 4-Qt
Post by: Skhilled on April 20, 2019, 08:27:06 PM
I saw this while shopping at BJ'S Wholesale. I pulled out my cell and checked the reviews and they were good! I have the Ninja Bullet from years ago and that has always been a solid product. Been looking at air fryers for quite awhile so I said what the heck, my oven is out atm so this should help quite a bit.

Had this for 4 days and have only opened the box and looked at it. LMAO Haven't used it yet. However, I did find a ton of interesting recipes for it all over the net as well as a number of books available. I've bought some brussels to try it out. It can also dehydrate food so I bought some bananas to see how that would turn out. Says it takes 8-10 hours. I may they that Friday so I'll be up and at home when they are done. LOL

Kay has a larger version(don't know exactly how big) of this brand and has used it a few times, but is no longer doing anything with it... sez she donen't like the way the food turns out.

I finally cooked something in it! LOL I found some boneless/skinless chicken thighs on sale and tried those. I went by the directions and what others said in their recipes for it. I tried two small pieces to see how it would go but they were overcooked. So, I cut the time in half and lowered the temp from 390 to 350. In just 10 minutes time I had very tender, juicy and browned thighs! I made my own spice rub for them with came out very well! :)

I'll have to play with it a lot more to get the timing and temp down.

Just made some chicken wings. Set it for 390° for 25 minutes. I turned them over about halfway. I took them out about 3 minutes earlry and they were crispy on the outside, tender inside. :)
