I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Changed the forum's default theme to our regular Christmas Theme.

Thanks go to Lesmond for the terrific graphics for this theme, most notably the Christmas Greetings sign that you see in the upper left.

We have a few Christmas smileys here on OFF, in the regular smiley set, but I've not really done much except for the changing the theme. :christmas-tree:

Updating SMF Gallery Pro from v7.2.1 to v8.0.4 and getting some errors, this quote is from my post over on SMFHacks.com

Getting ready to update to v8.0.4 and trying to uninstall v7.2.1.

When trying to uninstall v7.2.1 I'm getting the errors below, any advice?

Thanks... Ken.

That's because another mod(s) have probably put code in the same areas as the galley and it can't find the point where it needs to uninstall those parts OR everything wasn't uninstalled last time and you have duplicate code in those files.

Yepp... I'm thinking that a manual edit may be needed on those files.

This is the advice that he posted:
Quote
Proceed with the uninstall. Then try to do the new install.
If it still fails attach the failed files that failed on here.

Be back soon.  :azn:

Yepp... I'm thinking that a manual edit may be needed on those files.

That's always the case and why he said to post those files on his site. The problem is that is you do the uninstall and then reinstall without manually fixing the files it will screw something up later even if the the new install works. Sooner or later installing or uninstalling another mod or this mod will cause more problems. Whenever you have Test Failed it is always best to do manual edits of those files before proceding to avoid problems later.

Errr... back up now, after being down for several hours.  :-[

Had to wait until this AM to make sure my mind was fresh... that way, hopefully, I would not trash up the files even more.  laughing7

Just did the file edits myself, but did post the two files over on the SMFGalleryPro site just to see what he came up with.

Gonna get ready to install the v8.0.4 package now, hopefully it dosen't muck up the works all over again.

The edits on  Subs.php and ManagePermissions.php worked OK, but the Admin.php had some code that had to be removed manually as well.
