This topic is for proposed features for TrueBlog.
Many/most of the items listed here are taken from the admin and member functions panels in PmxBlog, so some may not apply to TrueBlog, or may not be workable.

Admin Options:
- Guest/Membergroup permissions; settings for read access/make a blog/ comment on blogs... ect.
- Share images uploads through the HTML-editor to all members: (yes/no)
- If the blogs(s) are setup as an extension or variation of the post and topic function, then it would be helpful if, when a member activates their blog it would by default go into an admin selected category as it's own board.
As a follow on to #3...
Member Options:
- Member can set their blog as public/private/or viewable to other members only. (should all blogs always be visible to the admin, even if the member sets it as 'private'?) AFAIK this is not possible in other blog apps/packages.
- Members blog must be that activated by member before it will appear/show. (place controls/options in the members profile?)

1. TrueBlog is being worked on by Bloc as a possible theme dependent blog app and I'm helping a little with the pre-alpha testing... it's very early in the process, but it looks promising.
He's not saying a lot about it publicly, but there is a version posted on BlocWeb. (http://www.blocweb.net/index.php?board=48.0;sort=first_msg)
The ink is broken because I was having file ownership issues with the test forum... actually the issue is site wide. A support ticket has been submitted, but I've not heard back from Frank yet. He lives in California, so he may be heading for high ground because of the possible Tsunami issues from the earthquake in Japan.

Probably, that happens sometimes during the week. Too much work. I've been considering taking off for a week now that I've got an extra week off this year. :danban:
