Bourbon Chicken Wings Recipe

This is a Wing version of a classic southern dish. You will be amazed at how tasty this Bourbon Chicken Wingrecipe is.

3/4 cup(s) , Soy Sauce
3/4 cup(s) , Brown Sugar
3/4 teaspoon(s) , Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon(s) , Ground Ginger
1/2 small , Onion Minced
3/4 cup(s) , Bourbon
2 pound(s) , Chicken Wings
3 tablespoon(s) , White Wine

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger, onion and bourbon; stir until sugar has dissolved. Add chicken and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.

Place chicken and the marinade in an 8 x 8 inch glass baking dish and bake in a preheated 350?F. oven for 45 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with pan juices. Remove chicken. Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits into a frying pan. Heat over medium heat and add white wine. Stir and add chicken. Serve immediately with pan juices over cooked rice

Well, the marinade tastes good. I'm getting ready to cook them now...as soon as they come to room temp.

I went to Nolde Forest with the kids earlier then to my fav store, Wegman's. I ate some Asian style BBQ ribs, shopped a little and picked up some Chinese food for later. ;)
