Sound interesting, the very first entry on the changes list (Attachments Upload UI enhancements) sounds like a good change to me.

I need to do some reading to refresh my skills before trying to update here on OFF.

While reading through the "How to update to 2.1.4" portion of the upgrade instruction I find this to be troublesome.
Quote
If you are currently using any older version of SMF (including SMF 1.x, SMF 2.0.x, or one of the SMF 2.1 Betas or RCs), you can upgrade directly to 2.1.4 from whichever version you are currently using by using the "Large Upgrade" package from the Download page. Be aware that using this upgrade method will require you to reinstall any customization's that you have added to your forum, so if you are running SMF 2.1.0 or higher, it is recommended that you apply the successive patches instead of using the Large Upgrade.

Which means that you'll have to uninstall your mods, upgrade the site and install the correct upgraded version afterwards. Some of the mods you have of here like Feline's Blog will probably not work anymore because she no longer keeps it updated in a lot of years, afaik.

That being said, you should look for updated versions of your mods first...then uninstall your mods and upgrade smf.

Feline's Blog has been broken for some time now and I should have uninstalled it a long time ago.
I think that everything else would be a keeper.

And, speaking of Feline's Blog... I can access my blog pages and the blog admin page, but all other links throw the error pages.  :-\

Database Error
Expression #19 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'ourfamil_smf46.t2.id_folder' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by
File: /home/ourfamil/public_html/FamilyForum/Sources/PmxBlog.php
Line: 642

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.19, while your database is at version 2.0.12. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

EDIT: The last entry in my blog was back on March 15, 2021, 03:14:12 PM, so the blog hasn't been used for over two years now.
