Installed the v8.0.4 package with no errors.

Gotta go back now and edit the three files in question to actually remove the offending code, because I had just commented out those lines of code too test and make sure my edits were correct.  8)

That's the best way cause would be hard to remember everything and of course make a backup first.

Back in August, 2007 I wrote this File Edit How To for the TinyPortal Docs pages and I've always tried to stick to that procedure. Whenever I follow those directions things usually turn out OK.

DONE!  :hah!:

All old/incorrect/outdated gallery code removed from the Admin.php, ManagePermissions.php and Subs.php, including some old Coppermine code that I had commented out some time back. So far everything seems to be OK.

I don't remember any but I'm sure there's some around. Maybe when we get time Les and I can come up with one. It probably won't be soon enough though.

On another note, I copied over a theme for someone from smf 1.1.13. They asked me to help them upgrade their smf to 2.0.15. I knew they would need a theme and I also wanted to see how easy it would be doing it for 2.0.15 vs 2.1. Doing it for the current version is so much easier! Here's what I did in a day:

Here's the original site. It is a bit risque, let's say! LOL

Thanks, SMF 2.1 combines a lot of the classes in the default theme whereas 2.0.15 doesn't. It makes it a lot easier when they are separated or you'll end up add styles to parts of your theme unintentionally. Then you'll have to figure out what needs to be separated and create it's own class! For me just really getting into this it's been a hard road but I've learned a lot quite quickly.

Les helped with the images. He's better at those. LOL
