Changed our theme to the "Design Happy New Year by Webmaster Forum" and changed the count-down timer to the New Years' day 2020.

Ken, tis site is taking ages between page loads.  Is it the 2.0.16 update, or is there a problem on the server.   :o

Not sure Mick, for me the load times seem OK, but maybe Steve can offer some insight.

Is loading fine for me too. Maybe there was some server issue earlier that I'm unaware of or Les was doing something around that time.

I have noticed over the past few weeks that various sites, even Google wouldn't load properly for me for a bit then would without a problem. Not sure what's going on these days.

Seems fine now.  Earlier it was taking more than 30 seconds to load a page.  Wondered if 2.0.16 was causing the server load, but maybe not.

I've been noticing a lot of bots and hackers out lately.  It's the season for them to be out and about. Been getting a lot of emails about them getting blocked. They may be hammering the server pretty hard.

After the new year they should go away. Happens always this time of year.

I started to uninstall the HttpBL mod, but the package manager is showing errors, so I stopped for now.

Just enabled Admin Security again... no particular reason, it just came up in some reading that I was doing, so me turned it back on.  laughing7

Well, that didn't last long!!!  shocked003
I wanted to change back to our default theme for the forum and the Admin Security would not show me that option, so I had to turn it off again!  :hah!:

So, Admin Security is now off and our ClearWhite theme is back in place.

What do you mean by Admin Security? You mean the Admin Notify mod?
